Shane was born in Southern California, and eventually moved to Texas where he worked on his family’s dairy.
While at A&M, he worked at the Texas A&M Low Speed Wind Tunnel as an undergraduate student worker on a variety of experiments and tests including missiles, UAVs, oil rigs and tractor trailers before joining the Flight Research Lab. A future goal of his is getting his pilot’s license. In his free time, he plays any sport he can - but mainly volleyball, basketball and football.
