Celine is one of the Flight Research Lab's pilots. She participates in all aspect of flight operations, including flight planning, instrumentation setup, navigation, communication, and airport relations.

A native of France, Celine transferred to Florida Institute of Technology as a junior to complete a Bachelor's degree, a commercial pilot certificate, and a flight instructor license in 2001. Subsequently, she moved to Purdue University where she completed a Master's degree in Aeronautical Science. While teaching instrument-rating and commercial lessons to flight students of the Aviation Department, she was the teaching assistant for the flight testing course. At to Texas A&M, she helped develop the Flight Research Laboratory and participated in a wide variety of flight missions. As a teaching assistant in Spring 2007 and 2008, she served as a substitute instructor for Dr. William Saric for the Flight Test Engineering class, AERO 425. Combining an interest in engine combustion and atmospheric pollutants or chemistry, she studied the fundamentals of combustion under Dr. Adonios Karpetis and defended her Dissertation on the "structure of partially premixed methane-air flames with detailed chemistry simulations." She graduated with a Ph.D. in August 2009 and now serves as Post-Doctoral Research Associate.
