The Stemme S10-V is a motorglider capable of unassisted take-off. It features retractable gear, two side-by-side seats and performs with a glide ratio of 50:1. When not in use, the 75.5 ft wing span is reduced by folding back the wings into a triangular formation more convenient for hangar accomodations. The Stemme was primarily selected for FRL use due to its ultra-low disturbance flight capabilities.
