The Cessna O-2A is the military version of the civilian 337 Skymaster. It is a twin engine, high-wing monoplane with twin-booms and retractable, tricycle landing gear. The engines and propellers are located fore and aft along the fuselage centerline. The aircraft is currently equipped to accommodate three people, rack-mounted instrumentation in the rear of the cabin, and external stores mounted to the wing pylons. When used in the airborne classroom configuration, the O-2 can be equipped with an additional seat, bringing the maximum occupancy to four.
